More things that blow my mind.

Ok, the first blog post I made was mostly about the First World War, and how researching it has made me happy to have been born in fairly recent times.  But what I didn’t talk about were the odd little tidbits that cropped up during my research that both surprised and amazed me.

List is getting longer…

Wake up at 6:10?  Check.  Tabitha was crying for some reason.  Might have been because she smelled like puke 😦  Bleh.

Clean her up, change her diaper, get a bottle ready?  Check.  That settled her some.

Wife leaves for work at 8, will Tabitha nap?  Nope.  At least Disney Jr. and a multitude of toys are keeping her from screaming.

Nap at 9?  Check.  Got lucky, and she fell asleep on my shoulder.

Time to waste?  Not really, but I will anyway.

Tabitha up at 10?  Check.  Time for another bottle.

Cereal for her at 10:30?  Nope.  Not even one bite.  Grrr….

Lunch at 11:30?  Check, but with great difficulty.  I was NOT wasting more food.  She was gonna damn well eat it.

Ok, got water and milk for her, and she’s finding the tv rather engaging right now.

Noon, check blogs?  Check.  The “Morning” blog by Liz Provencher inspired me to write this.  But not before I remembered to make a Doctor’s appointment for me for tomorrow (jaw pain, want to make sure it’s not a sinus or ear problem), as well as a Dentist’s appointment for next week (also jaw pain related, he’s gonna give me a bite plate and see if that helps).

Still to do:  Dishes, Tabitha entertaining (a constant item), call HQ to find out how to return my pants (My bi-yearly uniform issue was too small.  I haven’t gotten THAT fat yet.  Apparently they don’t understand waist sizes.), Tabitha’s laundry (maybe), empty garbages, scoop cat litter.

Time for guitar, small electronics projects, creative writing, video making, game playing?  Fuck…  Maybe tomorrow.
